Should Aspiring Writers Have a Website?
For writers looking to network online, a simple web page is essential. Facebook is a wonderful networking tool, but it doesn’t allow you to upload your resume. Blogs are wonderful, too, but not every writer is compelled (or has the time) to updated content in the form of a blog post on a regular basis. Some writers just need to a simple site to showcase their resume and bio in a professional manner.
Last week I came across Flavors.me, a user-friendly site that allows you to build a simple web page featuring your resume, bio, contact info, social network feeds, blog posts, photos, videos, and more all in one place. I highly encourage all of you to check it out.

I absolutely agree. Writer’s Residence is another example of a simple way to create a website (hope you don’t mind the plug). Whatever writers go with, a website is a vital part of their marketing machine!
